About Us
G Robotics was born out of necessity to help keep our restaurants in New Zealand viable amidst one of the many issues caused by the pandemic – Staff Shortages. The company came into being in 2021 at the height of the pandemic outbreak in NZ.
As the country was battling a health crisis, we were trying to solve an operational nightmare of continuing to operate with less than half of our usual staff.
The situation demanded a different solution and led us to “PUDU Robotics – a manufacturer of delivery robots.” We decided to trial one of their robots in our restaurants, and the results were immediate – the impact of staff shortage eased with BellaBot delivering food to the customer tables and HolaBot taking away the dishes, leaving customers curious yet engaged.
It was a win-win as customers were happy to be served by bots; our staff was relieved, too, as one of their time-consuming tasks was suddenly off the to-do list.
G Robotics has since supplied our Premium Delivery Robots to other restaurants and service companies across NZ.
We started G Robotics to help our clients be more customer-centric – and only suggest our Robots where appropriate.
